KOA Kampground Has Grand Opening
The KOA Kampground in Tellico Plains had their Grand
Opening and
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Friday, June 15th 2001. Congressman John Duncan
did the ribbon cutting to officially get the Kampground open for
business.
Approximately 300 people attended the opening. A Knoxville Blue Grass
band provided the music and Stokely
Hospitality catered the
event.

11th. Annual Conasauga Valley Rod Run
The 11th. annual Conasauga Valley Rod Run was held in the scenic
Rural Vale Community on Saturday, June 16th. The vintage automobiles
and late model cars were on display to help benefit the Conasauga Valley
Volunteer Fire Department, 50 trophies were awarded to the classic autos.
